Changelog

Updates to Ethereum guides, Monad guides, and the platform.

Platform updates

  • Added links to the Ethereum proposal site and repository and the Monad MIP forum and repository in site navigation and the About page.
  • Every proposal and chain guide now ends with a security note reminding readers to check official sources and the site update date, with a link to the full security guidance.

Ethereum guide updates

  • Clarified how ERC-7730 schema aliases and exact version pins affect descriptor version information in a signing review.

Monad guide updates

  • Added Monad Research Forum discussion links to MIP-3 and MIP-4 alongside their specification links.

Platform updates

  • Consolidated full-page proposal search in All Standards, where numbered proposal matches can be filtered and sorted. Finder remains the quick search across proposals and Monad chain guides; older search links still open the catalog with their query and supported filters.
  • Homepage FAQ answers now open and close with brief motion, and the chevron indicates each answer’s state. Reduced-motion settings remove movement while retaining a brief fade.

Platform updates

  • Guide breadcrumbs now return to the original collection, including after opening related guides. Catalog filters and grid/list selections are preserved when returning to results and moving between journey stages.
  • Separated numbered proposals in All Standards from editorial Monad chain guides. Chain-filtered headings and guide breadcrumbs now identify Ethereum Standards or Monad Standards.
  • Added Monad guides to the header, footer, and Finder. Homepage collection links now name their destinations and distinguish proposal counts from chain-guide counts.
  • Grouped footer navigation and resource links side by side on tablet and mobile so you can scan both groups together. Catalog counts and the update date now sit beneath the site name.
  • Made entire catalog rows clickable and kept proposal IDs on one line. Guide cards now show their titles before preview examples to help identify each destination.
  • Expanded user flows in the Design tab so every step is visible immediately.
  • Aligned search matching across the catalog, Finder, and search results. Finder now shows when results are limited and links to the full set.
  • Grouped secondary catalog filters behind an expandable control on mobile, while keeping search, counts, and applied filters visible. Added a journey-stage index for direct navigation.
  • Added section indexes to Design and Reference so you can jump to the guidance you need. Section links open the relevant guide tab. On Monad comparisons now show every authored row.
  • Kept your scroll position when switching guide tabs on desktop. Mobile tabs still move to the start of the selected content.
  • Extended reduced-motion support to guide headers and related content, and increased the contrast of selected-tab descriptions in light mode.
  • Added selectable text and document links when copying an agent brief or Markdown fails.
  • Added table headers to list results, named breadcrumb navigation, and Finder feedback for empty results.

Ethereum guide updates

  • Updated the ERC-4337 summary to lead with smart-account flows, fee responsibilities, and implementation-dependent support.

Monad guide updates

  • Reworked the seven Monad chain guides around chain behavior and its design implications. Sections now cover relevant design work, assumptions to avoid, and design risks and responses.
  • Clarified built-in network behavior and optional delegation in the execution, submission, confirmation, and EIP-7702 guides. Updated reserve-balance and gas-pricing guidance on balance checks, fee estimates, and simulation limits.
  • Moved transaction submission and gas pricing to Transaction Friction, and transaction confirmation to Comprehension & Display, so the guides appear alongside related design tasks.
  • Updated the MIP-3 summary to lead with fee estimates and simulation failures, while retaining the shared memory limit and fee caveats.

Platform updates

  • Added task-specific examples to problem categories. Category names, descriptions, and status counts appear before each example to help you choose where to start.
  • Updated journey stages with one example per stage, distinguishing connection, sign-in, permissions, execution, fees, and confirmation. Stages can overlap or repeat rather than forming a required sequence.
  • Kept guide tabs visible while scrolling on mobile. Selecting a tab moves to the start of its content.
  • Updated mobile browsing in problem categories and journey stages with result counts beside the grid/list switcher and expandable status explanations.
  • Fixed guide cards overflowing narrow screens.
  • Added a progress indicator to homepage previews to show when they will advance. Hover or keyboard focus pauses playback; choosing another preview restarts the timer.
  • Added direct access to the changelog from the header and footer.
  • Added Withdrawn and Stagnant filters and updated navigation counts.
  • Fixed keyboard navigation between guide tabs and screen-reader labels for single-section guides. Guide content transitions now respect reduced-motion preferences.
  • Updated links to official specifications, status information, and guide review dates.

Ethereum guide updates

  • Updated signing permissions, refunds, token controls, and app support guidance.
  • Added guides for network setup, signing domains, staking, transaction gas limits, and restricted tokens.
  • Updated 22 proposal statuses and 21 EIP/ERC identifiers. Existing links still work.
  • Marked EIP-3074 as Withdrawn and linked its replacement, EIP-7702.
  • Linked successor guides for nested NFTs and on-chain emojis. Earlier guides remain available as historical references.
